“I’ve had every known chemical — cocaine, booze — and tobacco is the hardest one in the world for me to quit. You watch old flicks? It’s suggestion by looking at something: you see a cigarette, and it makes you want to smoke!”
* If it’s any help, Olga^? This one retails for €4.98 … ! But I know what you mean: there’s some things that can’t be bought from the UK branch of Amazon for love nor money! And I got a belt for the UK Amazon, at one point: turns out it was American, and I had to pay customs duties!
At ANY rate! Good luck at the Centre: hopefully you can get the editing sorted.
† I know: Iceland sounds gorgeous, Debbi^! And, talking of McDonalds? A chap I worked with — many years ago — visited Moscow: not long after the first Moscow McDonalds opened. A lot of the locals brought their own knives and forks: a US burger was a radical new idea in 1990s Russia!
‡ Hello, Mum^!
^ JUST so everyone knows? There’s ten question sets on the 12th and 18th of December: about Pennsylvania and Michael Moorcock. I hope that helps! (Finding the music for Michael Moorcock was easy: he’s recorded with Hawkwind. I’d like to see J. K. Rowling do that!)

Q5) Richard Burton (That must have been an interesting one to watch. I’ve only ever seen the movie) I'll keep it in mind, but I remember a friend of mine, who is an actor and did some voice work, recorded, and had one of his own books turned into CDs in the US, and then had to pay customs as well, so it ended up being quite an expensive experience for him. It was a good evening yesterday, although the party was on the patio of the building, to be able to accommodate more people, and it was quite chilly. The plan is for me to go on Wednesday to do the editing, although there will be a fair amount of people turning up, but, in theory, they are using the recording studios rather than the editing computers, so fingers crossed! And good luck with your Christmas cards writing!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
