Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 6th December 2022.

6th December, 2022.

I have to admit: I woke up, today, in the cold.

I had my heating off, over night.

I have a duvet: rather than more money for gas.

And … ?

I’ve woken up shivering … to find it was four degrees, outside.

Cold … ?

I should say so!

~≈❄️≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Here’s a thought …
“In the world of the internet, there are many falsehoods.”
Tom Hulce, born born December 6, 1953.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

†        Well … it’s getting nippy, Olga.   There’s snow expected in the north: and the next few days, here in Brentwood, are looking chilly.   Especially when you realise this year saw the country’s hottest day on record.   (Penistone’s looking cold.)
Slowly but surely’s always the best way, isn’t it … ?

‡        I couldn’t tell the difference, either, Debbi.   Saying that?   Biscuits go soft when stale: and cakes go hard.
Oh, did you hear … ?   Donald Trump wants to suspend the Constitution.   I’m saying nothing …

  1. Q1) Santa Claus

    Q2) Porridge

Q3) This is a bit confusing. I think officially in 1949, although the constitution had been adopted in 1937

    Q4) Heartless

    Q5) Ozzy Osbourne’s
That sounds cold! Yes, the temperature is quite low here and it has snowed in the mountains, so a lot of people have gone skying, and Jordi was planning to go tomorrow.
We don't have central heating here, although we have a couple of small heaters that we sometimes switch on for a while. It doesn't tend to stay this cold for long, but it came so suddenly, and the contrast makes it worse, as you say.

I don't think he can actually do that. Even if he were still president. Um ...!

Do you ever wonder if the world has just gone nuts?

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
