* It sounds like it, Olga. Humanity is definitely a political animal! (I keep thinking you’d be interesting in Scots politic. And not just because of the mutual Independence votes: the country’s far more left of centre than most of the UK.)
Either way … ? UK general and local elections are usually on Thursday. But I keep thinking a Sunday would be, for turnout: after all, there’s not so many people at work.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the 23rd … !
† Now I think of iy, Debbi: one of the dancers was an actress called Kimi Wong. She was married to Richard O’Brien, at the time!
Q5) a royal flush I got confused about the timing of my class with Jordi tomorrow and I ended up turning up early, and he wasn't there yet, but I got to chat with his wife, and that was pretty interesting. I am sure you're right about Scottish politics. I also remember chatting to a psychiatrist who worked in Scotland at an event in London, and she told me there was far less interference into clinical matters than there was in the UK, so that sounded interesting (although they have a different mental health. I only every worked there for a couple of weeks, and it wasn't bad, once I got used to the accent!)
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
† Your Facebook, X/Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn profile are acceptable. I also like seeing folks webpages.
Don’t forget, folks, we’ve got a ten question set, tomorrow: about Clint Eastwood.
