* That’s possibly a good thing, then, Olga: some of the Old Firm Derbies can be quite nasty. And it sounds like Espanyol are due to have a romantic story: mentioning how well Leicester and Wrexham are doing might be something for the sports guys to look at, even if it IS a non-fan mentioning it.
It went well enough: and I managed to catch a film. Please excuse the singing … !
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Sometimes, Debbi, it helps to know people! I think the last time I checked, it was about 10%. And I know a friend was looking at a 6% one, because of a professional body she was in. This link may grab you …
Q5) Ukraine Your singing goes well with the movie, I think! I can't recall ever playing Tetris, so it is not one of those tunes that I have engrained in my brain, although I am sure I'd recognise it. Here I leave you the link to the gallery of photos from Saturday's event. They've also published the article, with the podcasts, but as they recorded the whole day's worth, there are a lot of podcasts. There are a lot of pictures as well. You'll probably be able to spot the politicians, and you might have seen Ada Colau, the mayor of Barcelona (at least at the moment. We shall see). She appears in quite a few pics, with a lot of people around her, and she is wearing an orangey-colour jacket. (My mother and my cousin appear in some of the pics, but mostly among the people, so it's difficult to point them out at you). I think you'll get a sense of what the day was like. I can't imagine either the coins or the banknotes are going to look pretty with Charles on them. Perhaps they should just put a crown on them and leave it at that. They'd save themselves a lot of money and changes... At least the euros don't have the royals in them. (Not that they are very pretty either, but, at least they are more neutral).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
