* I’ll be honest, Olga: I’m just glad Wikiquote’s around. It makes looking up a useable quote, a lot easier!
It’s a fantastic looking place, I know that: and the Kubrick version of the film made it famous. (I guess — from what Debbi was saying, yesterday — that’s it’s made itself available for other film crews. I’d imagine that’s handy for a lot of hotels.)
We’ve got more rain, if needed!
Oh, yes you mentioned Jordi had twin granddaughters! Is now a good time to teach him the phrase “double trouble”?
† Hello, Mum … !
‡ Like Dr McCoy, or Dr Crusher, Debbi? Oh, hang on, physicist! I need new spectacles! Actually, combining physician with electronics technician could be good. Especially if you’ve got a monster around! How does Rick feel about being Igor?
I’d imagine that hotel’s cropped up in a few films, successful or otherwise: it’s strikes its a handy source of income …
Q2) Dana Scully (the character played by Gillian Anderson)

Sorry about the PIP. I hope the social prescriber can help. (I wonder how they come up with some of the titles, but, hey, if it helps, they can be called anything). Your nephew seems to have the videos in the genes. What does he want to do when he grows up (even more)? Good news about the blood sugars. I was reading an article about the soup and shake diet, and how many people with DM type II got normal bloods after that (although the follow-up wasn’t very long), but I know it’s been around for a while already. I can’t remember if you have tried it already. https://www.england.nhs.uk/2023/04/nhs-to-expand-soups-and-shakes-for-people-with-type-2-diabetes/ And, judging by what Jordi and his wife, Cris, say, double trouble is right! (They are 3 y.o. and the two of them end up exhausted and needing a holiday when they come back from visiting, or the girls come here)!
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I can just imagine. I wouldn't experiment on Rick. I'd probably mess him up badly. Accidentally, of course. :)
