As you're possibly aware?
I'm due to pick up my main computer -- a 2017 21.5" iMac -- from a repair shop in Shenfield, today.
In the hope that it's;
- Repairable.
- Repaired.
- Working.
- Cheap!
I'm definitely anxious about the situation!
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Stewart*, Olga†, Mum‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.
Q2) 22nd December is National Mathematics Day. Where: India, China or The USA?
Q3) 22nd December, 1970, saw the birth of Senator Ted Cruz. He’s the junior senator of which US State?
Q5) Finally … ? Itō Hirobumi became Japan’s first Prime Minister: on 22nd December, 1885. He’d also been a what: samurai, shogun or Noh actor … ?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …
A1) 1963. (The show was 60 years old, this year: so that should be obvious.)
Q2) The story was written by who: Robert Holmes, Terry Nation or Dennis Potter?
A2) Terry Nation.
Q3) The first episode was called “The Dead …” what: planet, forest or swamp?
A3) “The Dead Planet”.
Q4) The first sight of a Dalek was of a Dalek manipulator arm, at the end of the first episode. That arm looks suspiciously like a what: sink plunger, hammer or syringe?
A4) A sink plunger.
Q5) Finally … ? Peter Hawkins, and David Graham, provided the Daleks distinctive what: voices, sound effects or movements?
Here’s a thought …
David S. Goyer, born December 22, 1965.
And a song …
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* They go exactly there, Stewart! Thanking you for joining us, yesterday!
† It's usually the case, Olga. Unfortunately, repair is the cheaper option for me. The affordable Mac mini is £649/€750: and I don't think I'd've got very far, asking for that! I think I'm going to need to start saving!
‡ Hello, Mum!
§ Oh, definitely not the Gogos of the 1980s, Debbi! They weren't big, over here: but the Bangles were. That's what happens when you hang around with Leonard Nimoy!
