* Quite what that had to do with the actual interview, I don’t know.
† My current manager — they of the adoption papers issue — is also quite young, and inexperienced. Which I feel may have had something to do with the Adoption problem. But they also seemed far better trained, far more involved, far more engaged, at the interview stage. And far more with it, frankly.
‡ Bloody hell, a Sony Ericsson, Anne††? That IS going back a bit! Think I had one myself, the cameras were rather good. I tend not to use my phone quite as extensively. Well … bar playing Tetris. Wish you mum well for me: sounds like there’s issues. (I think you’ll enjoy today’s set: even if you don’t get the chance to have a go.)
^ Oh, it’s definitely good to have the opportunities, Olga††. But, as you can guess? The interview went … strangely … I’m convinced I’ve … well … let’s just say it’s the first time I’ve complained about an interview …
** They’re like New York cabs, and those first iMacs, Debbi††. Design icons!
†† Am I the only one who thinks Dario Argento looks like Pope Francis?

I've watched many of his movies over the years, but can't recall seeing him interviewed or anything. Weird. Perhaps I have and he's just not that memorable-looking. I must catch up the remake of Suspiria (I have it on my Amazon list to watch but haven't gotten around it yet. I tend to watch movies with my mother, and I'm pretty convinced she wouldn't like it). I'm sorry about the interview. It sounds rubbish and a lack of respect to put it mildly, so I am with you about complaining. You might be right about the training angle, although perhaps something came up, but that is no excuse. Yes, they don't sound like somebody you'd want to work for, anyway, if you needed any more convincing. I hope they don't make you work too hard today.
Oh, man. One of those interviews! I'd be wary of working there, too.
I love the quotation! I'll paraphrase my own version: "If you don't like my books, don't read them." :-D

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
