Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 28-6-2021: Elon

28th June, 2021.

You know: there’s a few movies I’d like to see, this year.

Assuming the £20 uplift stays in place.

No Time to Die would be one.

Wonder Woman 1984 was another.

Plus, of course, The Batman.

Having been a lifelong fan, though … ?

The one I want to catch is Dune.

Which has been postponed, again!

Argh!

~≈🏜≈~

Did I mention the rat situation … ?

Damon House has rats, it seems: spotted in at least two neighbouring flats, and hear in two more.

Including mine.

Frankly?

I’ve got a rat trap on order: and reported it to Clarion.

Hopefully, they’ll get something done.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum†, Debbi‡ and Edith^ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, Edith on four, and Mum on two.

The day also saw Trevorª leaving us a message.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Here’s a thought …
“I’d rather be optimistic and wrong; than pessimistic and right.”
Elon Musk.
Here’s a song by Elon …

Radio 4 will be airing this, later.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Feel free to share today’s video Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        The new chap’s Sajid Javid, Olga: the Chancellor who resigned because he didn’t like Dominic Cummings?   I’ll take a guess, here: and say you’ll start seeing complaints in about a fortnight.
Oooh, Oh: the washing machine’s got a temperature control!   And a Rinse option.   Oh, and a Steam Hygiene Button.   I don’t know what it does, but it sounds impressive!

†        Hello, Mum!   (It’s actually a sen: Zen is a type of Buddhism … !)

‡        I know that scene, Debbi: it’s from A, B and C, isn’t it?   Unfortunately …

^        The Laurel and Hardy video, Edith?   Oh, boy, doesn’t it just stick in the head?   I’ve still got it in mine.   “♫Iiiiin thhhha blu ridge mountains ♫”

ª        You know, BBC two used to show the old Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon serials, when I was a kid, Trevor.   I can still remember the rocket ships taking off.   Gosh, they looked advanced.

I'm sure the complaints will come soon. The washing machine sounds impressive. My mother always buys top-loading ones, because there isn't a lot of space for the washing machine, and there are fewer models available, although I've seen some very expensive ones.
Sorry about the rats. I hope you get all get a solution pretty quickly.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
