* Cheers, Olga! It’s nice to know the trend’s downwards!
I had a word with the partner, yesterday, Olga: as the flat’s literally around the corner. He’s planning to pitch the caravan somewhere: and take it from there. I’m concerned, as he’s very raw. But what can we do?
Apart from be mildly curious. The woman made a few posts on Friday night, before she died. From a local pub. They were … uncharacteristic: very self pitying and very apologetic. Very out of character¶. The posts were later taken down: which seems odd, even if it’s not suspicious.
At least one of my neighbours also saw them: and has told me she felt the woman may have tried to kill herself. I wouldn’t be surprised, given how the posts seemed.
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I know it’s going to be awkward, Debbi: especially as the next ten question one is on Friday. But you should have home field advantage for this one!
§ I still say Joel’s best song is “Goodnight, Saigon”.
¶ I’d known her, Olga, her ex, and her father, as they were all regular customers at one of the pubs I worked at. She always seemed very sensible: especially where drink was concerned. Those posts seemed to have been made when she were drunk: which was odd, from what I knew of her.
Q10) the Adirondacks It all sounds a bit odd, if nothing else. It's true that sometimes people try to make things look better for those who've left in strange circumstances, but sometimes they can get into trouble for it. (Perhaps there is nothing strange, but... I guess it's professional deformation).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I only lived in New York for the first 12 years of my life, so ... :)
