*        Oh, blast, that’s awkward, Olga!   You’ve got my sympathies, there!   I have to admit, I had three lads head home the same time as me, last night: all of them singing Three Lions‡.   I have to admit, I got a BIT snotty at them, but managed to get them to shut up.   I’d rather NOT have drunken idiots singing in me ear at Eleven o’clock … 

†        I seem to recall reading he’d picked up the idea of paper money from China, as well, Debbi.   I couldn’t swear to it, though, but … I always thought the word ‘cash’ came from the Chinese word for those Chinese coins with the square holes in: but it turns out the English term common from Tamil.

‡        I’m not a fan of football.   Can’t stand the game.   But still think Vindaloo is the better football song.
