Right …
Looks like this’ll be the last Sunday I’ll working for a while.
No, I’ve not lost the job.
We’ve just had the hours cut, in the run up to the summer season.
Means I’ll be scrounging up hours where possible.
And possibly having a quiet word with the agency who hired me for the job, to see what they’ve got.
You never know what’ll happen …
But let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: scoring five out of five in the process.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …
Possibly the only song in which someone sings “Say up jump the boogie to the bang bang boogie.”
At any rate?
Today’s questions get answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day.
* Back in the motor, Debbi? Nice! Now … maybe you should order some Pratchett†. Just to … you know … put the word around. Indie Bookstore Day‡? That’s good thought: best Brentwood could do is a branch of Waterstones: our last indie closed down … well … I honestly couldn’t tell you, but Browsers must’ve closed a good decade and a half ago!
† Oh, did I tell you about Pyramids, Debbi? Sir Terry changed his German publishers, because of Pyramids. The original German publishers decided to make a bit of extra money off of Pyramids. By randomly putting a soup advert in the middle of it. Urinating DOG … !
‡ The nearest Britain can do? Is Record Store Day^. That tends to promote vinyl! (Come on, vinyl … !? It’ll never catch on … !)
^ Oh, they mentioned Elastica … ? Like I need an excuse …

Q1) Nevada
Q2) Anne Frank
Q3) Saigon
Q4) 1974
Q5) Berlin
Taking a few minutes to say hello before we set off again for the festival. It poured with rain yesterday so not very good for business but off we go again! Good luck with the agency (seasonal jobs can be unsettling. The translation agency have got in touch with me about spring season articles but I don't think they'll last very long and it's on and off at best).
We have Record Store Day here, too! In fact, I hope to do a short documentary about my own fascination with vinyl and how it's catching on. Really! It's big among younger people and collectors! :)
1. Nevada and Arizona (it's on the border between them)
2. The Diary of Anne Frank
3. Saigon or Ho Chi Minh City, but it WAS Saigon
4. 1974 (I remember it! Scary ...!)
5. Berlin
