My weight management meeting is today: and?

Hopefully, I’d’ve lost some weight.

Did I mention I’ve been watching Alien: Earth?   But not planning to review it?

I’ve been watching Alien: Earth.

And not planning to review it.

It’s worth watching, I think.

But the eyeball monster is a little unnerving … !

Don’t watch that video if you’re not keen on gruesome … !

~≈👁️≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga†, Irene‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with all Mum, Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Irene on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum¶!

Ah HA!   It sounds like you’ve gone down with a cold, Olga!   I hope it clears up, soon!   I’d be putting my feet up, if possible: and drinking lots of Lemsips.   I can only hope the editing goes well, when it starts!
Well played, Borinots!   I hope everyone was ok.   (You can see where the second person up is getting wobbly!)

Morning, Irene¶: how IS the day?

§        Just had a quick flick through that piece, Debbi: I take it Lost didn’t impress you … ?   (I still remember seeing The X-Files.   Hearing Gillian Anderson’s British accent is still confusing.)

¶        Just so you know, Mum, Irene?   This is the piece Debbi’s written on her blog: https://randomandsundrythings.wordpress.com/2025/09/01/the-greatest-show-ever/
And this is the Human Castle Olga was talking about:

Q1) 2014

Q2) Australia

Q3) World War Two

Q4) When I checked it said it was actually on the 31st of August 1991, but the national holiday was declared on the 1st of September.

Q5) Los Angeles
Yes, thankfully nobody was hurt. But the ambulance was also left behind of the people, so they had to grab a backpack to go and check on them, because there were so many people that they couldn't move. I asked one of the castellers, and they told me there had been a mistake when they changed the people at the bottom for the last time (I guess somebody wasn't firm enough, or they moved too quickly). Yes, but nobody got hurt. In fact, els Castellers de Sants were the first ones to introduce the helmets for the little ones, because there was a death years back. At first, other collas were not very receptive (the team of castellers is called a "colla") but, eventually, they saw sense. They celebrated the 20th anniversary of its introduction earlier in the summer.
And yes, definitely a cold. My nose is running like no one's business today.

I could have sworn she was American. :)

She's so good !

1. 2014
2. Australia
3. World War Two
4. 1991
5. Los Angeles

I remember reading an interview with Gillian Anderson, where she said she's actually more like Mulder, and David was more like Scully.

She also said she was a fan of PiL. Which amuses me no end! :)

And, how could I not mention The Prisoner? :) Talk about ground-breaking TV.

Um ... Lost was okay. But really. I think they just copped out at the end. Pretty much. When they weren't making improbable shit up. :)

In a weird way, The Prisoner's ending makes more sense to me. Or, at least, wasn't a total cop out. :)

It made sense in the "world" of The Prisoner. Hmm. Pondering ... :)
