Bloody Hell, I only bought them on Friday … !
I ordered trousers from Amazon: on Friday, obviously.
Both pairs?
Turned up yesterday!
One with the postman, the other on the back of an Amazon van. That’s been handed to a neighbour, and is something I’ll pick up after work.
What amazes me?
Is the speed those trousers turned up.
Some twenty-four hours! I’m wearing one pair already!
Dinah? Say something!

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Q4) Who — according to Wikipedia — was the highest paid member of the film’s cast?
Q5) Finally … As Time Goes By, one of Hollywood’s best known songs, is performed in the film: by a character called what?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”Rick Blaine.
And possibly the only song I could post, giving the subject …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day …
* Might be an idea to see if a charity shop will take them, Olga: down to you, though! Yeah, the Proms seem to be quite the thing: there’s a few wedding dress shops near me that make a few quid, extra, hiring out prom dresses. Oh, and there’s graduating, add well, for nurseries. Mind you, I sort of like that one. Jude graduated from his nursery school: hopefully, that’s planted the idea it’s a good thing into his head.
† Which one did you mean, Debbi: there’s actually two Dirk Gently’s doing the rounds: the first starred Steven Mangan, and the second, Samuel Barnett. I have to admit, I wasn’t stunned by the idea of the first one: Steven Mangan never struck me as right for the part!

Q1) 1942
Q2) Humphrey Bogart
Q3) Ilsa Lund
Q4) Who — according to Wikipedia — was the highest paid member of the film’s cast? Conrad Veidt (he is superb in The Cabinet of Dr. Caligary, for sure)
Q5) Sam
Yes, I very much suspect the charity shops are going to be the ones to get much of my stuff. The problem with some of these proms and etc is the expense involved. Limousines, new dress, shoes... (it is a bit cheaper for boys, but for girls depending on the outfit and if you include a hairdresser, makeup... it might end up like a mini-wedding that it's already a big hassle. Anyway, somebody is making money out of all this, for sure).
Have a good Sunday!
I'm not familiar with that one. I watch the one with Elijah Wood as Todd and Samuel Barnett as Dirk Gently.
