OK, OK …
That World Peas gag is truly …
Well …
Bloody awful … !
But I had to get it out of my system.
Whether I should’ve inflicted it on you … is possibly a whole other issue …

At any rate, it’s a Friday night.
A Friday night I’ve got to myself: with little to do …
Well, there’s several things I could’ve done.
Getting an early night with a good book appealed: but I wanted to wait for my new spectacles to turn up, first.
They turn up next Saturday.
Which rules that out …
A movie … ?
Whilst I’ve got a few in the collection … ?
I’d already caught one, this week.
And wasn’t necessarily in the mood for another.
One thing I have manage to do, though, over the past couple of weeks … ? Between listening to Tubular Bells and making bad jokes about frozen peas … ?
And yes … I think the standard’s still good.

Episode 2 — Point of Light — sees Micheal (Sonequa Martin-Green) meeting her adoptive mother, Amanda (Mia Kirshner): and ordered by Captain Pike (Anson Mount) to break The encryption, so that both he and Amada can access the details.
The unseen Spock is, after all, both Amanda’s son, Pike’s first officer, and Micheal’s brother.
Meanwhile …
Micheal is mildly shocked … as former lover, and Klingon spy, Ask/Voq (Shazad Latif) contacts her: from the heart of the Klingon High Council.
It seems Chancelor L’Rell (Mary Chieffo) is having issues …

Now … it’s another great little episode: although I’ll happily admit to feeling tired, whilst watching Point of Light.
None the less?
It’s moving the story forward, giving us glimpses of what the characters are doing …
And showing us more Klingons.
It’s a shame about the hair, though … !
I liked the bald look!
