Right … that’s THAT sorted out … !
You’ve possibly noticed I’m doing a few things to the family laptop, hadn’t you … ?
So far, I’ve managed top do some basic defragging — which has freed up some space, I can tell you! — and got rid of some excess software: including an Amazon toolbar that was flashing up some worrying messages.
Of course, the next bit’s going to be fun. Setting up the external drive so that Mum and Ann — the older of my two sister — have lots of extra shelf space.
I get the feeling it’s going to take some time.
The things not getting any younger, after all!
And on top of that … ?
I want to set up SOME form of back-up programme.
How they’ve managed without one of them, I really don’t know!
