Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 16th January 2026.

16th January, 2026.

Right, then: it’s now Friday.

And … ?

I’ve remember to take my Mounjaro … !

Having to inject myself is a much needed chore that’s easy to forget.

But?

I’m very aware it’s exactly that: a much needed chore.

I *think* I’m having issues with X: the site formerly known as Twitter.

As I’m sure Olga and Debbi will tell you, it’s getting harder to find my posts on the site.

I’ve JUST had a word with the site’s automated Help item: and have a lot of stuff to go through, as a result.

But … ?

Apparently, I can talk to a human … if I subscribe to X’s premium service.

Money for which, I don’t have.

Remind me to tell you about the phrase, ‘urinating dog’.

I’m tempted to use a lot of them …

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 27-3-2020: World Theatre Day

27th March, 2020.

OK …

It’s a Friday morning: and I feel rough.

Tired rough: rather than Covid 19 rough!

Benefits of finishing a late night post — and video — about Star Trek Picard.

If you’ve not seen it?   Michelle Hurd, who plays Admiral Picard’s former First officer, Raffi Musiker, is amazing!

The Daily Teaser — 27-3-2015: World Theatre Day

Blimey …

You heard about the plane that crashed, on Tuesday … ?

I got watching the news, yesterday: after the voice recordings from the plane’s flight recorder got leaked by someone.

It turns out that the co-pilot — one Andreas Lubitz — locked the plane’s captain out of the flight deck, when the Captain went to the loo.

And then, in the words of the French investigator at yesterday’s big news-conference, sent the plane into a “deliberate descent.”

The investigator made a point that he “wasn’t calling it suicide,” as “that’s not what this is.”

According to some German newspapers, the chap suffered with depression.

Personally … ?

Personally, there’s few things that make me feel ill.

And personally?   I can understand deep depression: I’ve suffered with the condition, and those bleak moments can be VERY bleak, and force one to focus on NOTHING except oneself.

But still speaking personally … ?   I THINK I can understand feeling depressed enough to want to take  my own life.   Although I’ve not — thankfully — been there for a while.

But ill … ?   Yes.   The thought that someone could willingly take their own life — and those of 150 other people — has left me feeling decidedly queasy …

The Daily Teaser — 16-1-2015

Another day, another dollar …

And another late night.

Another late night, happily working, I should add.

Saying that … ?

Saying that, I was glad to get home: get off, showered, and off my aching feet.

And in bed, with a good read.   I’ve a few more days before I have to get The Royal Assassin back to the library: I’d like to finish it, before I do.

So last night … ?   Last night, I was up a little than I should have been.

The Royal Assassin is worth the effort, I think.
