Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 1st May, 2021.

1st May, 2021.

You know … you can TELL we’re getting close to Election Day.

The date’s getting nearer to 6th May.

And I’m getting increasingly annoyed.

By the amount of leaflets coming through my door.

I’ve had one Conservative one: while I wouldn’t vote for them, the local candidate’s friendly enough to take my request — to not put them through my letter box — to heart.

The local Liberal Democrats, on the other hand?

I asked they’re representative if they could pass on the message: to not post at my address.

That, frankly, didn’t work: as I had another leaflet from them yesterday.

I’ve complained: after all, having volunteered for them, I know they have — or had — a list of addresses in the area who didn’t want literature.

Frankly?   Let’s just say I got at least one rather dismissive reply, from local Councillor, Karen Chilvers.

I’m glad I’m voting Green.

That — and her presence on the planning committee that screwed up the local mobile phone mast — means I’ve made aa good decision.
