Gill Veail — Trevor’s sister — has asked me to thank everyone that’s passed on their condolences, after his recent death.

Thank you: you know who you are.

It’s officially official: I have the sun in my eyes.

Which is what happens on a sunny day, when you buy cheap blinds!

Or, at least, have cheap blinds … on a sunny day.

Either way … ?

I can’t complain too much.

Yes, it’s a cold day … but yes, it’s also payday.

Which means I can do something positive.

Like shop … !

It’s officially official: I’ve had my diabetic retinopathy check.

And will be getting a letter about the results, soon.

By post.

I may possibly need to resit the test: as the cataract in my left eye was making the photo — specifically of my left eye — difficult.

We’re going to have to see.

So to speak!

You know, I THINK we could be looking at a nasty winter.

Possibly.

As I write, I’ve got the heating on.

Nothing new, there, this time of year.

But I’m ALSO aware was definitely nippy, yesterday: and looking JUST as nippy, today.

Personally … ?

I think wearing a jumper, when I go to work, will be an idea.

Maybe other clothes, too!

Who the hell was that … ?

I have to admit, I got something of a late night, last night.

Or, at least, a late night for me.

After blogging about last night’s episode of Dr Who, I should add.

I got myself off to bed: and nicely comfortable.

Slowly nodding off: as you do.

When the doorbell went off … 

I’ll be frank, I didn’t answer.   Well, it was 12·30!

I still have NO idea who on Earth that was.

And will apologise to any of my neighbours, if it was urgent.

But banging on my door in the morning would’ve been nice … !
