Right … 

I’ve got a meeting, tomorrow: with my case worker from the work programme I’m on.

Which means … ?

Frankly, I have to ask them for a train ticket.

It seems that, if you have no cash, they’ll pay for it, in advance: and let you pick it up from the relevant station.

Assuming you have acceptable ID: which I do.

I sent the email, first thing.

Hopefully?

That will be a relatively painless process.

But I’d’ve been comfortable, knowing that the process worked.

Or that the people running the scheme were more flexible on dates.

We’ll have to see.

Just as a thought … ?   My nephew was over, yesterday: and managed to get another video, done.

Cleverly?

He managed to note which games was which: and when the goals were.

Which is handy, if you’re the one adding sound effects!

Yay … !

I’m rising the Brentwood Centre, today.

Because — wait for it — I’m getting the COVID-19 jabs, today.

Or, at least, the first of them.

Hopefully?   I won’t get too many side effects.

Right, then: I’ve got The Faceless Ones, the reconstructed Dr Who story, on blu-ray.

I’m happy.

And happily ripping it, so that I can watch it later.

Frankly?

It’s the last of the birthday presents to turn up.

And, equally as frankly?   It actually turned up, yesterday.

A day before the formal release.

I’m not complaining.

I will complain — or, at least, make a point — at this stage.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker saw its US release on Friday 13th: a few days early.

US release, I should add.

The UK release?

Is at the end of April.

Personally?

I think that’s not necessarily good.

I think that’s going to encourage people in the UK to download from torrent sharing sites.

But, hey … what do I know … ?

Mostly?   With all my teeth, possibly a lecture about oral hygiene …

Is I’ve got an earworm on the go.

I think I have an interview interview lined up: but need to double check on my timings.

But one thing that DID cross my timeline?

Was this piece from the BBC.

It seem that Swedish researchers are working on an AI based robot that will do job interviews.

Hmmm … 

Frankly?

While I hate filling in online forms?

I think an unbiased robot interviewer?

Might just give me some form of advantage.

No, really!

But then again … ?   I’ve really only got myself to blame, in one sense.   I was up late, blogging.

Well, of course I was: I’d also been up late, watching The Amazing Spiderman 2.

Which didn’t win any Oscars, unsurprisingly.

But was very entertaining.

Frankly?

Frankly, I think that’s all we can ask of a movie!
