Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 20th March, 2021.

20th March, 2021.

It’s official: I’ve done a thing … !

A thing of great significance and joy: that will have implications for ALL HUMANITY!

OK: I’m possibly overcooking the significance, there.

All I’ve done — last night, with my main hard drive started running out of space — was shift my Photos library from my main drive, to my main external drive.

Granted?   It’s a change that I always feel nervous about making.

And granted, that means they won’t be backed up to my Time Machine back up drive*.

But?   Copies of the photos are still stored on iCloud.

And I have more space for photos.

That’s a thought: Facebook’s just thrown this advert at me.

‘Did you know why that … ?’

‘We have sat down with the person of a popular website …’

You’d think Facebook would provide a proofreader as part of its service!

Whoever wrote the text of that advert, needed one!

Around Brentwood …

You know, it’s not that often I post up photos, it really is.
 But … ?

Well, having been given an iPod for Christmas — only a fourth generation, but I’m not complaining … ! — I have to admit, I went out wondering, today.

And got a bit …

Well …

Snap happy.

I’m not complaining.

It means I got some exercise, earlier … !

Enjoy.

A Day Out in Kent …

You know, I’ve possibly already mentioned that I was in Kent, yesterday, haven’t I … ?

No, actually, scrub that: I know I have, this morning … !

But … ?

Well, to be frank, I thought I’d ALSO post up some of the photos I took.

Those …

And a video …

»»·««

But, of course, where thing’s get REALLY boggling … ?

Is when I looked up ‘cousins’ on Wikipedia: the actual family do I was at having been organised by my cousin Dean*, at his place in Kent.

Technically … ? His two adult children — Hannah and Joe — are me, Anna and Ruth’s 1st cousins, once removed.

As is Jude to Dean, and his younger brother Mark.

And … ?

Technically Jade, Hannah and Joe, as they share a great-grandparent, are second cousins.

Personally … ?

I’m just glad Wikipedia’s around.

I don’t think ANY of us have managed to sort that out, up until now … !

* That’s him with the iPad … ! (His wife, Wendy, owns a Mac mini of her own, who’ve I’ve AUTOMATICALLY started to think of as Cousin Bruce. And both of their adult child have MacBooks of their own. Including Hannah and her feller, Gary: Hannah’s running Lion the lucky what’sit … !)

Dr Who: From the BBC Gallery …

You know, I’ve got to admit, I’m just doing dinner, at the moment.

Well, it is that time of a Saturday afternoon.

One thing I know for certain is that Series Six kicks off its first half, in about an hours time.

Which is why I had a look at the BBC’s Dr Who site, for stuff about the first episode, The Impossible Astronaut.

Where I came across the photo you see here.

Is it me, or is Matt Smith regenerating … ?

Before everybody panics … ?

As far as I know, Matt Smith’s contract has at least another year to go.

What I’m thinking will happen … ?

Is the character will be seriously injured: after all, we know from The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End two parter, the Dr can use the energy to heal extensive injuries.

Quite how things end up like this … ?

Well …

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see …

The Last Post of the Year … !!

Yes, I know, it’s sad …

Me and Allison are indoors, because we couldn’t afford to go out.

But that’s the breaks, for you!

At any rate, I thought I put up a few photo’s from the past few days.

Happy New Year.

May your problems be few, and your blessings, many.

And wish me luck for Wednesday, everyone: I’ve an interview in Chelmsford … !

Just quickly …

No, literally, this is just a quick post.

Bless her, I’ve had Sarah over.

Who, while she was here, managed to find a couple of shot’s of David Tennant.

Try not to dribble, Saz!

But, at any rate, I do know I owe her a big ‘Thank You’ for letting me post the photo I tweaked for her, up.

Enjoy!
