Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 10 — “Life, Itself” — A Review

30th May, 2024: the Introduction.

It’s official: it’s Thursday.

And … ?

Frankly, today is the day … where the last episode of Star Trek Discovery is broadcast.

Aired?

Streamed?

Whatever!

At any rate, I — and a few Jammie Dodgers — going to be watching that episode.

Then telling you about it, and the series it closes, tomorrow night.

I’ll see you then!

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 9 — “Lagrange Points” — A Review

23rd May, 2024: an announcement.

Right … Whilst dinner’s doing … ?

I’m going to do my usual thing.

Stare off, mournfully, into the middle distance … before I remind you that it’s Thursday.

Which means I’m going to be watching Star Trek Discovery’s latest episode, “Lagrange Points”, tonight.

Then … ?

Telling you about it, tomorrow night!

I’ll see you then.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 8 — “Labyrinths” — A Review

*Spoilers*

16th May, 2024: the introduction.

Yes: it’s officially Thursday!

And, frankly?

It’s been quite a day!

I’ve just spent several hours on the phone to Brentwood Council!

Just don’t ask!

At any rate … ?

It’s Thursday: so, once I’ve had dinner?

I’ll be watching “Labyrinths”: the next episode of Star Trek Discovery.

I’ll have it reviewed by tomorrow night!

I’ll see you then!

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 7 — “Erigah” — A Review

*Spoilers*

9th May, 2024: an introduction.

Right, then.

It’s officially Thursday.

And frankly?

I can smell the smell of dinner being done!

Yes: I’ve had my blood tests done!

Yes: I’ve posted this morning’s Teaser.

And yes: I’m wondering where I put a lot of old CDs!

I’m just thankful I had some of the missing music on an old computer*!

~≈🖖≈~

At any rate … ?

I’m burbling: not a good thing when potatoes are involved!

I’m going to get off, eat dinner, then watch “Erigah”, the next episode of Star Trek Discovery’s last series.

I’ll see you in the (metaphorical) morning.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 6 — “Whistlespeak” — A Review

2nd May, 2024.

It’s officially official: it’s Thursday.

You’ve possibly already noticed that, haven’t you … ?

Yes: you have, haven’t you … ?

You’re possibly aware that — here in the UK — it’s local election day.

I went Green in the local Council elections.

And spoilt my vote in the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner election.

There was literally no-one I felt I could vote for.

At any rate, you don’t want to hear about my politics, do you?

No … you’re here for me to remind you it’s Thursday … and that I’m going to have dinner …

Then watch “Whistlespeak”, the sixth episode of Star Trek Discovery’s last series.

By the time you read this written review?

Or watch its video equivalent?

It’s going to be Friday.

Hopefully?

I’ll see you then …

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 4 — “Face the Strange” — A Review

18th April, 2024: an announcement.

It’s officially official.

I’ve spent most of this afternoon explaining Dune to one old friend: and Handbrake settings to another.

Heigh ho!

At any rate … ?

I have the evening free: and dinner is cooking.

And, once that’s done?

I’ll be watching “Face the Strange”: the fourth episode of Star Trek Discovery’s last season.

By the time you read this … ?

My review will be published … !

Star Trek Discovery — Series 5 Episode 3 — “Jinaal” — A Review

11th April, 2024: the Introduction.

It’s officially official: it’s still Thursday!

And, frankly?

Dinner is being done.

Chicken, if you must know.

The pie I was looking was … well …

I couldn’t get the tin open!

Arrrgh!

~≈🖖≈~

At any rate … ?

Dinner’s doing.

And, once it’s done, and eaten?

I’ll be watching “Jinaal” — the third episode of Star Trek Discovery’s last season— and telling you all about it: tomorrow night!

I’ll see you then!

Star Trek Discovery — Season 5 Episode 2 — “Under The Twin Moons” — A Review

6th April, 2024: the Announcement!

Which … it’s officially official.

It’s early on Saturday evening.

Or late afternoon.

Depending on whether you think it’s afternoon or evening … when it’s still daylight out!

At any rate … ?

Dinner is officially being cooked.

The soundtrack for the original version of The Omen is playing in the background.

And — by the time you read this? — I will have seen “Under the Twin Moons”, the second episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fifth season.

Right … back, tomorrow …

Star Trek Discovery — Season 5 Episode 1 — “Red Directive” — A Review

4th April, 2024: the introduction.

Yes: it’s still, officially, Thursday: as anyone who’s read my early morning quiz will have realised.

And yes: I’ve been making videos.

There’s something of a long story, there!

At any rate … ?

Dinner — a baked spud, some vegetables, and chicken kyiv — is being done as we speak.

Once that’s done … ?

I’ll be watching “Red Directive”, the first episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fifth and final series.

Then letting you know what I thought: tomorrow night.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 12 — Species Ten-C — A Review

10th June, 2022.

Right … I’m feeling slightly pressured.

As … ?

Dinner’s almost ready!

Yes: it’s Friday night, again: and?   I’m going to be watching the next episode of Star Trek: Discovery.

Is it’s on a par with last week’s?

I’ll let you know, later!

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 11 — Rosetta — A Review

3rd June, 2022.

Right at the moment … ?

The Jubilee — for me, anyway — is something of a damp squib.

Congratulations to Her Majesty: she’s done an incredible job, these past few years.

But … ?

I’m going to be watching another episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth season, tonight, rather than hit a street party.

To me, Rosetta looks looks far more relevant than a party, or the repeated BBC news interview with Rod Stewart!

At any rate?   As always, I’ve started writing this review on Friday: the night I’m actually watching the episode: in the hope that it’s going to be a little pacier than the past few week’s episode.

We’ll have to see, won’t we?

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 10 — The Galactic Barrier — A Review

27th May, 2022.

Yay!

It’s Friday!

Which means … ?

Well, frankly, I’d possibly be heading out … if I had the cash and somewhere to go.

It’s getting toward’s summer, after all.

However?   I’m happy to watch TV … with the curtains, and windows, open!

I can get some sunlight, and air, in: whilst eating dinner.

And watch the next episode — episode ten, The Galactic Barrier — of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth season.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 9 — Rubicon — A Review

20th May, 2022.

To paraphrase Orwell?

Even as I write, vegetables are flying overhead, trying to kill me.

That could make more sense, couldn’t it?

What I actually mean?   Is simply that — at the moment — I’m cooking dinner.

Chips are doing, vegetables boiling, fish is gently grilling.

Once I’ve done that, I’ll be watching episode nine of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth series: and letting you know what I though, by tomorrow night.

Right now?

I’m going to put food on plates.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 8 — All In — A Review

13th May, 2022.

Right: it’s Friday, again.

Which means;
  • This is going to be a short intro.
  • Dinner’s almost ready.
  • I’m going to be watching another episode of Star Trek Discovery.
And you’d’ve worked all that out, by now, that I’ve been watching Star Trek Discovery’s for some time.

Once I’ve had dinner?   I’ll be watching Episode 8, All In: and finding out if they got the title from the poker term: or the wrestling match.

I’ll tell you for sure, tomorrow night.

When I’ve watched it, and posted my reviews.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 7 — …But To Connect — A Review

6th May, 2022.

Right …

It’s becoming something of a tradition for me: watching TV on a Friday evening.

The past few months have seen me watching Galaxy Four: and starting on the fourth season Star Trek Discovery.

I still want to catch The Book of Boba Fett: and the second series of Star Trek Picard.

We’ll have to see how that goes!

At any rate?

It’s a Friday.

And, once I’ve had dinner?   I’m going to watch …But To Connect.

You’ll see this post finished, tomorrow night at the latest.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 6 — Stormy Weather — A Review

29th May, 2022.

It’s officially Friday.

Which is something I mentioned in this morning’s Teaser.

What I didn’t mention, then … ?

Was simply the fact I’d be;
  • Having dinner.
  • Watching another episode of Star Trek Discovery.
Episode Six, Stormy Weather: if you’re interested.

I’ll have my written and video reviews up by tomorrow night, 30th April, if you’re interested.

Now … if you’ll excuse me, I’m starving!

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 4 — All is Possible — A Review

15th April, 2022.

Right … it’s a Friday, again: Good Friday, in fact.

Personally?

I’m doing nothing special.

Although, if you want to phone and buy me dinner?

You’d be wasting you’re money: I’ve got what little food I’ve got, on the hob.

Fish and chips, again: although quite where the tradition of having on a Friday comes from, I don’t know.

At any rate?

It’s a Friday.

And — as I’ve been doing for the past few weeks — I’m going to be settling in with an episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth series.

Episode 4, so you know: I’ll have this finished on Saturday, 16th April.

I’ll see you tomorrow at the latest.

~≈🚀≈~

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 2 — Anomaly — A Review

1st April, 2022.

Right … it’s Friday, 1st April, 2022.

Which is nice to know.

I’ve got the TV switched off.

Partly?   So it’s not distracting.

But partly?   So I can hear my vegetables doing.

Yep: I’m doing dinner, again

Once I’ve had it?

I’ll be watching Anomaly, the second episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth series: and telling you About it, by tomorrow night.

You can let me know what you thought, then!

~≈🚀≈~

Saturday, 26 March 2022

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 1 — Kobayashi Maru — A Review

25th March, 2022.

Right … my dinner is almost ready to be eaten: or, at least, be shoved on a plate.

Then eaten.

After that … ?

I’ll be washing up: then doing what I’ve been saying I should do for a couple of weeks, now.

Catching up with season four of Star Trek Discovery.

This reviews up, tomorrow: hopefully, I’ll see you then.

~≈🚀≈~

Saturday, 30 January 2021

Star Trek Discovery — Series 3 Episode 13 — That Hope Is You, Pt 2 — A Review

30th January, 2021.

Right … It’s getting late.

Which means … ?

Frankly, the older I get, the more a cocoa, an early night, and a Charlie Parker LP, sound like a good idea!

When I find one I recognise on Spotify, I’ll let you know … !

At any rate … ?

I’m starting this on a Saturday night.

With the intention of finishing it tomorrow night.

And telling you about the last episode of Star Trek Discovery’s third series, in the process.

~≈🖖≈~
