Mostly?   So I could visit the Romford branch of CeX: as the Brentwood Branch is now closed.

It … was something of a trip.

I went to college in Romford: back in the Nineteen-eighties.

So it’s unnerving to see that a café called the Gingham Kitchen, and bakers, Godfreys of Hornchurch, are still there!

After some thirty-six years!

Hmmm … 

I don’t know if you knew it, but I’ve at least one neighbour who uses cannabis.

Not something I object too: in theory.

What I do object to is the fact whoever’s using it, is making my flat smell as a result.

I’ve been reporting this: as I object to that.

I did, last night, in fact, phoning the 101 non-emergency police line.

I ALSO got told something else: that phoning the local neighbourhood policing team could be useful.

So I phoned them, too.

Going by the recorded message I got?   I couldn’t leave a message: as their answer phone service was having problems.

But I could, as an alternative … ?   Phone 101 …
