Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Series 3 Episode 6 — “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail” — A Review

14th August, 2025: “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail”.

The Intro.

Right: it’s officially Thursday.

And … ?

It’s a sweltering hot day: my thermostat’s telling me my flat’s at twenty-seven degrees, and there’s not a breath of air coming through the wide open windows.

Although the neighbours will possibly be enjoying the Communards cover of “Don’t Leave Me This Way”, blaring out at them.

His Reverence did one hell of a piano solo!

Nonetheless?

It’s hot: the temperature, that is.

So having the oven on, isn’t helping.

Well … temperature-wise, it isn’t helping.

Dinner-wise, it’s working well.

I’d rather not cook a burger on the pavement: however hot the concrete is.

However, once dinner’s done … ?

Once dinner’s done, I’m going to eat it … then watch TV.

Yep: it’s Thursday.

So it means I’ll watching “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail”, the next episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds … 

Then, hopefully, finishing this review by Saturday, 16th August.

I’m aware that it’s scheduled broadcast time puts it after the football, and before Eurovision.

Thankfully, the episode wasn’t cancelled because the football went into extra time.

I used to hate that, as a child.

It’s cold enough to freeze that snow, overnight.

Is going to be dangerous: because I think we’re going to see a lot of black ice.

I’m not going to worry.

As I’ve had dinner — stew, baked spud ands some vegetables — I’m going to stay in.

Doctor Who — The Evil of the Daleks: Episode 6 — A Review

Right at the moment, I’m boiling potatoes: I’m cooking dinner, in other words, and making home-made chips as part of the meal.

So, of course, I’ve done the usual thing: chopped up a couple of spuds with a crinkle cutter, and put the things on to boil.

Before I roast them in the oven.

Which means … ?

Well, lots of things.

But it means I’m both nearer to getting fed: and nearer to watching episode six of classic Doctor Who story, The Evil of the Daleks, tonight.
