The introduction video makes me look a little green.

That filter doesn’t work the way I was expecting it, to.

I was expecting the storm background to show up!

If you’re out of a job, you’re claiming benefits: especially if you’ve got associated health issues.

I am: if you hadn’t guessed.

So … ?

Anything that affects out minimal income is worrying.

The UK’s current Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is due to make her Spring Statement, today.

And is expected to make further cuts to the welfare bill.

Personally … ?

That’s worrying.

I think I’ve made a break in tradition: and not opened this piece with a video introduction.

Why do work when I don’t need to?

Especially when I have to get up in the morning!

At any rate … ?

It’s early on a Sunday night: and I have a film I’ve been meaning to watch for some time.

The 1980, Hazel O’Connor vehicle that is Breaking Glass.

Let’s hope the film is better than the trailer …

West Side Story (2021) — A Review

12th January, 2023.

Right.

It’s a Thursday night.

And, frankly?

I have a quandary.

Or possibly a problem.

I’m writing this on an evening with little to do.

Bar fret.

And wonder what to watch.

Frankly?   I’m thinking the Spielberg cut of West Side Story looks attractive.

As does the documentary about 1996 made for TV, Dr Who movie: imaginatively named Dr Who Am I.

Or do I start watching the third season of Apple TV+’s For All Mankind?

Before the start of Picard’s third series, in February?

At any rate?

I’m going to watch something, tonight: and tell you about it, tomorrow night.

Here’s hoping I make my mind up.

Right … the first thing I did this morning … ?

Was … well, I did several things, this morning: clean my teeth, wash my face, what have you!

But one of the things I did … ?

Was make sure that my copy of Microsoft Teams was working: which it apparently is.

I’ve an interview at eleven, today.

Hopefully, one that will go well …
