And Radio Four’s Today programme has been telling us they’re marking Norman Day.
In other words, they’re marking the Norman Invasion of Britain in 1066: some 960 years ago.
And covering one specific thing: the fact the millennia-old Bayeux Tapestry, the Tapestry made by the Normans to mark their success, is currently on display at the British Museum.
I doubt I’ll have the chance.
But I’d love to see that: it’s an authentic piece of history!
