Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 5-7-2026 — Nemesis the Warlock (Ten Questions)

5th July, 2026: Nemesis the Warlock.

Right … it’s another Sunday.

I don’t know about your Sunday: but I suspect mine’s going to be quiet.

Or, at least, involve nothing more taxing than making a lot of videos!

If anything exciting happens — alien invasions, war, sex, really exciting stuff? — you’ll be the first to find out … !

~≈👽≈~

One thing I can tell you … ?

Is that I’ve caught more episodes of various TV shows.

Frankly?

Series two of Blacklist looks good: but is starting to pale, after binge watching Slow Horses, and catching the opening episode of Silo series three.

Still, I can’t complain too much.

They’re entertaining, after all.

Here’s a thought …
“These stories proved popular, prompting [the creators] to develop a regular series, Nemesis the Warlock, which combined the early high-concept science fiction with fantasy in the ‘sword and sorcery’ mould.”
From the Wikipedia entry on the character.
A Shriekback song …

And an earworm …

The next 10 question sets are on 11th, 13th and 30th July: they’re about World Horse Day, “I Don’t Like Mondays” and the Beano.

Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided when writing these questions.

Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!   (10/10, yesterday: well done!)

It sounds like the day was a damp squib, Debbi: cool or otherwise!
Counting out request duly noted.   (Oh, apparently, a Neo-Nazi group paraded itself at the events.   The group concerned sounds slightly to the right of the KKK … but, thankfully, small.   I can only hope the group doesn’t get any bigger!)

I’ve used the first story’s cover date — the date the original comic would have been taken off the shelves — as I couldn’t find a reference to the original publication date.   For weekly publications, the publication date is usually a week earlier — 28th June, in this case — but I could find no definite reference to it.
