Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 21-11-2023 — The Sun Always Shines On TV.

21st November, 2023: The Sun Always Shines On TV.

Right …

It’s officially official: I’ve had my diabetic retinopathy check.

And will be getting a letter about the results, soon.

By post.

I may possibly need to resit the test: as the cataract in my left eye was making the photo — specifically of my left eye — difficult.

We’re going to have to see.

So to speak!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Here’s a thought …
“Television is for appearing on, not looking at.”
Noël Coward.
And some music …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

Good luck with the eye test results! I'm off this afternoon to see the doctor and what she decides about further tests. And then we have a meeting in the building where my mother lives. There are some big refurbishments coming up, so it's not going to be good news, for sure. Although, thankfully, there are a lot of subsidies for modernising buildings, using the right materials, and making them more eco-friendly, so, hopefully some of the money might be returned (but we would still need to pay it in advance or get it loaned from a bank...).
Oh, I thought I'd share the article about the walk I joined on Sunday morning. It is Montjuïc, the hill where a lot of the Olympic Games events too place, and one of the hills around Barcelona. Nice views as well.
