Yep: today is the official date of the Queen’s Platinum Pageant.

Which is possibly going to be exciting.

If you’re into pageants, obviously.

About the one thing I can say … ?

Is that a quick look out of the window tells me it’s raining.

I watched episode eleven of the fourth series of Star Trek Discovery — Rosetta — on Friday.

Star Trek Discovery — Series 4 Episode 11 — Rosetta — A Review

Right at the moment … ?

The Jubilee — for me, anyway — is something of a damp squib.

Congratulations to Her Majesty: she’s done an incredible job, these past few years.

But … ?

I’m going to be watching another episode of Star Trek Discovery’s fourth season, tonight, rather than hit a street party.

To me, Rosetta looks looks far more relevant than a party, or the repeated BBC news interview with Rod Stewart!

At any rate?   As always, I’ve started writing this review on Friday: the night I’m actually watching the episode: in the hope that it’s going to be a little pacier than the past few week’s episode.

We’ll have to see, won’t we?

Yes: it’s cloudy out.

Which means … ?

Well, not a lot, frankly.

But anyone having a street party, today, are going to be keeping an eye out for rain.

Here’s hoping it improves.

I mentioned street parties, there.

People are going to be organising them to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

That’s a day after there was a service of Thanksgiving at Saint Paul’s, yesterday.

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, turned out for that: along side his wife, Carrie.

He got booed.

I wish I’d been there.

I’d’ve loved to have joined in!

Right … it’s officially Friday.

Here in the UK?   That means it’s the second in a long weekend’s worth of Jubilee public holidays.

Well done and good luck to Her Majesty.

But on a personal front.

It’s another day, job hunting and worrying about my health.

And, frankly?   I’m baby — ha! — sitting my nephew, this evening.

I don’t think we’ll be marking the Jubilee: not if I know my nephew!

To the point where Sean wanted to find out more.
