Tells us about potential cuts to welfare benefits: in order to help fund what’s called the Defence Investment Plan.
Andy Burnham has gone on the record, to say he will “… reduce the welfare bill by getting more people into work”, in order to fund the thing.
Given he’s gone on the record to say something previous administrations have said?
I’m tempted to laugh in Andy Burnham’s face.
Or, at least, to not vote Labour in elections over the next few years.
