Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 28-8-2016

Ye GODS …

I’m tired … !

Which will probably show up in my typing.

But there you go.   That’s what happened the morning after ten hour shift.

And on the day of another one!

I will give our new manager credit: next week’s shifts are short … but far more to my taste.

Frankly, though … ?

Even though it’s going slowly, I’m new job turns up at some point.

These long, late night shifts are murder … !

And, given it’s Stranglers frontman, Hugh Cornwell’s birthday?

These …

Enjoy your day.

*        It’d be nice if there was, Olga: those newer hubs look good!   At ANY rate: the thing turned up, just before I was due to head to work.   Nice timing, from our postman.   I’ll have a chance to set the thing up.   On Tuesday.   I just hope BT don’t charge me!   (Ours are usually postmen: I don’t think we’ve had a post-woman!)

†        Yep, I saw that Debbi!   Congratulations!   You must be feeling rather pleased.   :D   (At ANY rate … I’ve double checked: apparently, Erle Stanley Gardner wrote 80 — 80 — Perry Mason novels.   Good grief … !)

We have had a few post-women but once again Canada Post is threatening to strike. Last time they threatened it, we changed everything from paper to online. They need to get this over & done before Xmas. That's the only time I use their service.
