Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 16-5-2018: The Last Tsar

26th May, 2018.

Yep: it’s Saturday.

And it means what it’s meant for the past few months.

Yep!   I’m at work: early.

And, given it’s a bank holiday weekend in the UK?

There’s a rail replacement bus …

Dratted things … !

Does anyone else reading this, use Blogger as their blogging platform?

I have comment moderation turned on: just so I can filter out spam, and other nasties.

And have had the emails sent to me, religiously, for the past few years.

Until Thursday: when the one alerting me to regular comments, Debbi, didn’t turn up.

Oh, her comment got through.   Just not the email Blogger’s supposed to send.

The same happened to Debbi’s and Olga’s, yesterday.

The comments turned up … but not the mail …

Yes: my dashboard is still set up to send the email.

Yes, the comments are turning up.

But no emails …

Quite what’s happening, I don’t know.

But I’m betting that the GDPR legislation’s at fault.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Tsar Nicholas 2nd.
And a video …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Hmm … You know, if there’s no authorised amateur translation of Spamalot, Olga, I’m betting there’s a few quid to be made from it … !   As for Humans?   I know the original version is actually Swedish.   Who’d be licensing that, or the English language to Spain, I really couldn’t tell you … !

†        Too many books, not enough time?   Always the way, Debbi!   I’ve still got Behold the Man lined up … for once I’ve finished The Scarlet Gospels.   It’s taking me a while.   (I don’t think Gospels is on a par with Weaveworld: but very few things ARE on a par with Weaveworld … !)

A very handsome family and, of course related to many European royal families, but his politics… Anyway, I hope you can sort out the blog issue. I had never end of problems with the plugins and had to try several ones, and I’m not sure yet of how it will work out long term. I hope the bus is not particularly onerous. Here is was a holiday last Monday but not this one.
I've noticed that most of the Scandinavian series come here at some point, but I've missed a lot of things in the last few years with my comings and goings. I'll keep my eyes open for it.
