Inglourious B^sterds: Hmmm …

You know, I’ve got to confess, I’m writing this on a Wednesday — obviously — with this week’s episode of the remake of V in the background.

Well, you can’t go wrong with Morena Baccarin, as the evil alien leader, Anna, you really can’t.

Ahem!

At any rate, that wasn’t what I was going to write about …

No, I was going to tell you — during the commercial breaks — about the movie Movie Night Adrian, Kevin D and his Mrs, Tootles and I managed to catch, last night.

And if you haven’t managed to work out it was the 2009 Quentin Tarantino film, Inglourious Basterds, then someone’s not been paying attention.

And I’ve got to admit, it was rather fun …

Even though it’s one of Tarantino’s typically twisty plots.

Well, twisty-ish

Set in an alternative 1944, it sees Brad Pitt as Lt Aldo Raine leading a group of Jewish-American soldiers behind enemy lines.

Whilst cinema owner, Shosanna Dreyfuss — Mélanie Laurent — plots to blow up her own cinema, when it’s used as a venue for a premèire attended by every top-level Nazi around.

Now did I mention this is a fun film … ?

That it definitely is.

But I’ve got to admit, I was a touch tired, after after work.

So Inglourious Basterds, at just shy of two and a half hours long … ?

Is a lot of fun, but definitely fun that you you need to prepare for!

Inglorious Basterds has recently hit my list of all-time fav flicks. My 20 year old nephew and I have watched it dozens of times, loving it each time. We're hooked!
