Right, rush, rush rush … !

As, once again, I’m off to work in a tick.

I’m not complaining: I do like working on Wednesday: I’m usually working with a good bunch.

But it DOES make for a rush posting up …

The Weekly Teaser … !

With that said, let’s get a movie’, shall we?

Today’s Wednesday: which mean’s it’s time for the Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser.

Here’s this week’s Winnie the Pooh themed questions …
Q1) 14th October saw the original publication of A. A. Milne’s Winnie The Pooh.   In which year of the 1920s?
Q2) What did the first A in A. A. Milne’s name stand for?
Q3) Winnie is a bear of very little … what?
Q4) Winnie is based on the toy bear owned by A. A. Milne’s son: who ALSO appears in the book.   What was his name … ?
Q5) Winnie’s two best friends include A. A. Milne’s son: and which very small animal?
Q6) Who’s the only female character in the book?
Q7) True or false: Tigger appears in Winnie The Pooh.
Q8) Eeyore — Winnie The Pooh’s gloomiest character — is an old, grey … what?
Q9) Pooh’s House — along with all his friend’s houses — was where?
Q10) A. A. Milne wrote a sequel to Winnie The Pooh.   What’s it called?
Here’s last week’s seven themed set: which saw Old Peculiar regular, Debbi Mack*, scoring — ironically enough — a perfect ten …
Questions.
Q1) Today is the 7th October.   Is seven a prime number?
Q2) What name is given to a seven-sided, two dimensional, shape: a septagon, septuagint or heptagon?
Q3) A polyhedron is a three dimensional object.   What name is given to a seven sided polyhedron?   (One with seven faces, in other words.)
Q4) Numbers written in base 7 will have no digit higher than the number six, as there’s only seven digits used in it: going from 0 to 6.   Base seven is also known as what: quinary, senary or septenary?
Q5) More to the point, how does one represent ‘7’ in base 7?
Q6) How is seven written: in Roman numerals?
Q7) The opening credits for TV show, ‘The Prisoner,’ show us Patrick McGoohan, driving what model of car: an Austin Seven, a Lotus Seven or a BMW Series Seven?
Q8) Who, currently, is playing 007, at the movies?
Q9) Disney film, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,’ has seven dwarves: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful and Sneezy.   Who’s the seventh dwarf?
Q10) Finally … who, in 1992, released a song called ‘7’?
Answers.
A1) Yes.   (In other words, it — like 1, 2, 3, 5, 11, 13 and many others — can only be be divided be itself or one, in order to get a whole number as a result.)
A2) A Heptagon.
A3) Heptahedron.
A4) Septenary.
A5) 10.
A6) VII: or, in lower case, vii.
A7) A Lotus Seven.   (Ironically, McGoohan’s character was only ever known as Number 6 …)
A8) Current James Bond star, Daniel Craig.
A9) Dopey.
A10) Prince.
Enjoy those!
