3rd March, 2026.
Right … I’ve published reviews: of the most recent episode I caught, of Stranger Things.
The written one’s here.
It’s video equivalent?
Is here:
And … ?
I made the video version in Final Cut Pro.
Which was educational, I know that.
I’m still trying to figure out how to use transitions in a way that means the video transitions: but not the audio portion of a clip.
I’m thinking I need to get the hang of magnetic masks, masks that track whatever they’re masking, and let you apply effects.
I learnt those were things that would come in handy.
And also learnt something else.
They tell you — you know they: them that tells you stuff! — ha!
They tell you that — if you’re going to use a computer to edit video, and use pro-level video editors like Final Cut, or Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Studio — will use a lot of hard drive space.
A lot of hard drive space!
I knew that.
But also, having no direct experience, didn’t know that.
That 15 minute video review?
Making and rendering that video review chewed up some four hundred gigabytes of hard drive space.
I’m glad, when I bought my current machine, I got one with a one terabyte, a one thousand gigabyte, internal drive.
But, had I released I’d be using Final Cut Pro, and that it would use quite that much space?
I’d’ve got a two terabyte drive.
Heigh-ho!
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

A Doc Watson song …
And an earworm …
The next ten-question set is on 25th March: it’s about Greece.
Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.
AI is avoided when writing these questions.
Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (It was 2020 and transactinide, Mum, not 2021 and transuranic!)
† I’m glad I could help, Debbi … ! (Oh, I’m having trouble with audio transitions, again! Arrrggghhh!)
