El Ministerio del Tiempo/The Ministry of Time — Series 2: Episode 7 — Tiempo de valientes I/Time of the braves - part one — A Review.

3rd March, 2019.

Yes: it’s a quiet Sunday night: and frankly?

It’s the night before my birthday: tomorrow.

If you want give me huge amounts of cash?

You’d be welcome.

Or, alternatively … ?

You can donate money to my Facebook fundraiser: for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Which hasn’t learnt the target £150 …

But HAS raised a nice amount.

I think?   I owe everyone who’s donated — through the page, and otherwise — a big thank you.

Thank You … !

But … ?

That’s beside the point, that really is …

Frankly?

I’m not another year older, until tomorrow …

I AM on my own, tonight …

And thinking it’s a perfect night to catch another episode of El Ministerio del Tiempo/The Ministry of Time, Series 2.

You’re right …

Part one of a two parter is in the mix

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 3-3-2019: First Strike

3rd March, 2019.

Something positive …

I have to admit, yesterday?   I spent yesterday feeling … glum …

Glum enough to go to bed, early.

Did I mention I get depression?

Most of the time, I can deal with it: thanks to the medication I’m on.   A mix of a low daily dose of Fluoxetine, and the thyroid medication I’m using, help.

I still get the occasional nasty episode: mostly at weekends.

Where I can’t do something about anything that’s bothering me.

This weekend?   Not hearing anything about the BT job, one way or the other … ?

Has been … well …

Glum.

Until I figure trying something positive could help.

I’ve emailed the woman from BT’s Human Resources department: to ask if she could confirm if I’d been hired, or not.

And ask — if I hadn’t — why I hadn’t.

OK: if I get a reply, it won’t turn up until Monday, at the earliest.   But at least I can say I’ve asked.

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 2-3-2019: Sterling Stuff

2nd March, 2019.

OK … it’s not often I use this sort of language in an intro video …

But I’m not exactly what you call happy …

No …

Remember, a couple of weeks ago, I had an interview at BT’s Brentwood office?

Unless I’ve got it very wrong, I was due to be told, yesterday.

Did I hear a thing … ?

…

… …

… … …

No.

Yes: I know I started complaining about this, last night …

But, if you tell a potential receipt you’re going to get in touch, one way or the other, to let them know if they’re hired or not … ?

You should.

Star Trek Discovery Series 2 Episode 7: Light and Shadows— A Review

1st March, 2019.

Yes: it is, in theory, a day for another dollar.

At least, it would be …

Hmm …

Maybe that phrase should be ‘Another day, another disappointment.’

Do you remember me telling , a couple of weeks ago, now, that I had an interview with BT?

20th February, that was.

I … was told the those of us who attended — hired or otherwise? — would be told, today, whether we’d be taken on.

I don’t know about anyone else … ?

But I’ve heard neither way.

And can only assume I’ve not been hired.

That’s … saddening …

But also annoying.

After all, why tell someone you’ll contact them by such and such a date …

If you’re not … ?

~≈§≈~

So …

Upsetting … ?

Very much so, to be honest.

OK, granted, I managed to get a few things done about the house: although you possibly wouldn’t know it.

That does help …

And … ?

At the end of the evening, the least I could say is that I’ve seen more TV.

You’re right: it’s Friday …

That means it’s time for more Star Trek: Discovery, series two …

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 1-3-2019: Saint David’s Day

1st March, 2019.

Yes: it’s official … I’m mildly nervous.

And not about getting accosted by daffodil waving Welsh people.

No …

Remember, last week, I had an interview at BT’s Brentwood office?

Today is the day I’m expecting to hear — one way or the other — I’m due to hear if I’ve got the job.

I would seriously like the job.

It’s local, very well paid, and sounds doable …

On the OTHER hand … ?

As much as I’d like a ‘You’re Hired,’ I’m expecting ‘We’re sorry, but …’

Either way … ?

Well … nerves …
