Well, finally, I’ve had the Road adoption explained, but it still leaves me with a question, or two.
It seems that the actually Clamping scheme will only apply in Rollason Way’s carparks, whereas getting the road adopted will mean that Essex County Council will have to put some form of restrictions in place; I’d like to know what’ll be done to police the illegal parking on the street, but …
And I’ve also had a thought about the resident’s parking permits.
What happens if we — the resident’s — make financial use of those permits? By — ah — ‘loaning’ them to commuter’s.
And I’m probably not the first person to think of that.
I’m also know I’d still like to see the actual vote figures; I’m am hearing different things from both Movie Night Adrian — who, like me and many others, doesn’t drive — and from both Lynn and Dave — who both do drive.
I think, if Sara Bartleman’s reading this, I’d appreciate seeing the actual voting figures, so I can put them here.
After all, what’s to hide?
