The Daily Teaser …

Whoah …

I’m up fairly late …

Well, lateish …

I’ve got to admit, though, I was doing a bit of late night maintenance on the Mini.

Mostly a case of hoovering out the underside and rear vents: after the elder of my two sisters. Anna, asked me to back up her collection of Merlin. Either way, that kind of video work does tend to put out some hot air … !!

But let’s move on, shall we … ?

Yes, let’s …

Yesterday’s Teaser saw both Trevor and Kaiju putting in their tuppence ha’penny’s worth. With both scoring 6 out of 6, I’ve got to admit that both put in some nice little extra details: I didn’t know that Georgie Fame was a born Clive, for example. Or that Scatman Crothers did that much voice-work.

He’s best known for Hong Kong Phooey in the UK, so you know, Kaiju!

At any rate, let’s get moving on today’s questions, shall we … ? Here they are, along with the ‘How To’ and License

Q1) 24th May, 1218, saw the forces of the Fifth Crusade leave Acre … for which African country?

Q2) 24th May, 1968, saw who issue a ‘Sack me or Back me’ ultimatum?

Q6) Which Quaker philanthropist — and chocolatier — was born on 24th May, 1836?

And here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q6) And finally … 23rd May, 1921, saw the birth of Jazzman, and radio presenter, Humphrey Lyttelton: what was the name of his 1956 hit?
