The Daily Teaser …

Hmmm …

That’s an interesting idea …

I’ve just caught a little article on the BBC News channel, about an RSPCA scheme called Pet Retreat.

Seemingly … ?

Seemingly, it’s aimed at women who’re in abusive relationships: but feel they can’t actually leave those relationships …

Until they’ve managed to find somewhere to stay, for the family dog or cat.

Which is what the scheme does: finds fosterers to look after those pets, while the owners are in a refuge, and then reunites them, when they’s found somewhere safe to live …

Like I say, handy. Feel free to share the RSPCA page about it, as and when: apparently, they need more people to sign up as fosterers for the scheme.

Lets move on, shall we … ?

Yes, lets

Indeed true - this is a scheme I have been promoting for about 3 years (http://karenchilvers.mycouncillor.org.uk/volunteer-dog-foster-carers-needed/).

Glad to see that it is expanding to other charities too and that BBC gave it some good coverage.
