Blimey, that’a just caught my attention.

You’ve probably already realised that I’m something of a Terry Pratchett fan.

And that my late Grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's Disease for many years before her death.

So reading on the BBC News website that scientists have found sufferers are more likely to also have a certain amount of brain-shrinkage, many years before actual diagnosis.

Good news, possibly.

Because, hopefully, that’s something that can lead to better forms of diagnosis and earlier treatment.

Hopefully.
