The Daily Teaser

You know, I’ve got to admit, I’ve got The Impossible Astronaut playing again.

Admittedly in the background.

But just to chase up a Watergate reference that Debbi mentioned: and I’ve just clocked it. Debbi, River was giving the Dr and company a potted history of the President.

Admittedly, of events that — from President Nixon’s viewpoint — won’t have actually happened, as yet.

But that’s time-travel for you.

If nothing else … ?

Is it me, or does Mark Sheppard’s character look vaguely like J. Edgar Hoover … ? Very appropriate, considering he’s playing a dodgy FBI agent …

Lets get moving on, shall we … ?

Okay, so ... given that River's done all that time traveling, maybe she mixed up events just a bit. Or am I just making excuses for her? :)

Anyhow, it didn't matter. I still liked the show. **possible spoiler** Matt Smith must have a really long-term contract, huh? 200 years?? That's a LOT of episodes, right?! And THEN what??? :(

As far as I know, Debbi, he’s got a three year contract, with options to extend it for up to another two.

And I’m thinking they’ve an out at the end of the series: there’ll be another regeneration … ! :D
