The Daily Teaser — 14-2-2015: Saint Valentine’s Day

Oh, now, hang on … it’s Saint Valentine’s Day …

I think the word here, is ‘Whoopee’.

Said with a heavy amount of irony.   The kind of heavy irony usually used by Bridget Jones, and other stunningly single people.

Mind you … ?   Mind you, if I’m lucky, someone will bang on my door, tonight — once I’m home from work — and insist one making mad, passionate, lingering, love to — or with — me.

Meanwhile, back in reality?   I’ll probably be watching a film.

And possibly having a LARGE cocoa!

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring nine out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s loved up questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video

Q2) The nine different species of Agapornis are also known as  what birds?
Q3) Somnophilia a sexual attraction to whom?

Q9) According to the BBC, the first Saint Valentine’s day was marked on the 14th February of which year: 496, 497 or 498?
Q10) Finally … If you’re beloved doesn’t know, or realize, you’re in love with them, that’s a classic case of what kind of love?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …
Q1) 13th February, 1970 saw the release of the world’s first Heavy Metal album: what was it called?
Q2) More to the point, what was the name of the band that released it?
Q3) Equally to the point, the LP was released on which day of the week?
A3) Friday.
Q4) That band’s lead singer went on to have a solo career: AND a successful reality TV show.   Called what?
Q5) This band’s first Top Ten single reached No. 4 in the UK charts.   What was it called?

Q6) Moving on, slightly … which very heavy band had a UK hit with Whole Lotta Love: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin or Motörhead?
Q7) Which Finnish Heavy Metal band famously won Eurovision, with Hard Rock Hallelujah?

Q9) Which English heavy metal band were famously accused of causing a pair of suicides with ‘subliminal messages’: Judas Priest, Deep Purple or Iron Maiden?

Q10) Finally … which heavy metal has the atomic number, 92?
A10) Uranium.
I’ll leave you with this thought …
“Only love stops hate. This is the eternal law.”

Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha.
With this tune …

And with this one …

Have a good day … !

*        You know, that’s possibly going to be handy at some point, Debbi!   (Actually … ?   Probably more to you, than me: the US has a small, French speaking, population.   Did you ever read Julian May’s Galactic Milieu trilogy?   The narrator, Rogatien Remillard, is a French speaking American: from New Hampshire.   And possibly one of my favourite SF characters.)
