Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 10-10-17: World Mental Health Day

Right …

I have to confess, I’ve been watching Star Trek: Discovery, recently.

Indeed, I caught the most recent episode, last night.

And, yes, The Butcher’s Knife Cares Not for the Lamb’s Cry is possibly a bit too long as an episode title: although I’m very aware Debbi, Old Peculiar regular and rampant The Prisoner fan that she is, will mention Do not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling!

At ANY rate?

At any rate, I’m rather impressed with the design of the show.

Including Voq’s ship.

The idea of the ship is very Klingon — it’s a ship covered in the coffins of its dead crew members — incredibly baroque …

And incredibly gorgeous looking!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) 10th October is World Mental Health Day.   Which psychiatric hospital is the origin of the word, ‘bedlam’?
Q2) Which ‘B’ used to called Manic Depression?
Q3) Which former member of Take That suffers with depression?
Q4) One former Apple CEO was said to suffer from Narcissistic Personality disorder.   WHICH Apple CEO?
Q5) Finally … if you have OCD, you have Obsessive what Disorder?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1) 9th October saw the staging of the first Sumo tournament held outside Japan.   In which year?
A1) 1991.
Q2) More to the point, where was it held: Wembley Arena, the O2 or the Royal Albert Hall?
Q3) Sumo is a kind of what: wrestling, boxing or dancing?
A3) Wrestling.
Q4) The ring Sumo is performed in, is called what, in Japanese?
A4) The dohyō.
Q5) Finally … the highest ranking sumo practitioners, the grand champions, are called what?
A5) Yokozuna.
Here’s a thought …
“The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I wanted to die.”
Juliette Lewis.
And a song or two …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        I’ll have To look some of those up, Olga: although I’ve a funny idea some of them will give me a heart attack!   Strolling up Warley is — theoretically — a good thing: although Debbi will tell your it’s steep.   (Turn left at the end of my street, and you’re on Warley Hill.   I’m told it’s not as steep as San Francisco.   Or Baldwin Street in Dunedin: it’s the world’s steepest street!)

†        Good to know, Debbi!   It could’ve been worse, though: the coffee could’ve land in your lap, rather than your shirt!   Actually?   You might want to check out Going Postal: although it’s not a s good as the original novel!

Some of them are very gentle. That's an impressively steep hill. I live up a hill too, although I won't when I go back to Barcelona.
Sorry to hear about the job. Their loss. Hopefully something better will come along.
