29th July, 2025: the Dwarf Planet … !
It’s official: there’s some Charlie Parker on in the background, it’s Tuesday morning …
And I’m up early: and have managed to avoid the word “Groovy”.
Why … ?
I’ve got repairmen due: to lower my kitchen cupboards.
Hopefully?
The process won’t take long.
I’d really like to go back to bed … !
~≈🥱≈~
Did I mention my washing machine’s having issues?
My washing machine’s having issues!
According to the repair people I spoke to, over at Mackfields … ?
It’s a blocked sump: which is going to cost me sixty pounds (£60).
I should be able to cover some of it …
But if anyone would like to help?
My PayPal account is here.
It would be very appreciated … !
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring six out of six, and Mum on five.

Here’s a thought …
“A dwarf planet is a small planetary-mass object that is in direct orbit around the Sun, massive enough to be gravitationally rounded, but insufficient to achieve orbital dominance like the eight classical planets of the Solar System.”From the Wikipedia entry on dwarf planets.
And a possible clue …
The next ten question set is the Left-hander’s day quiz on 13th August.
Please mention the day to left handers you meet.
Comments will be published, tomorrow morning.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum!
† It wouldn’t surprise, Olga, if some of the ushers were turning a blind eye to people with sports-bags! I’m also told that some projectionists are involved: they’ve got a a very good few of the screens, and can easily capture the audio track.
Oh, apparently, there’s things called screeners: they’re preview copies that get sent out. Apparently, they’re traceable: but That doesn’t stop them getting leaked.
Hmmm … had Paris seen any terror attacks at the time … ? Because that could explain any increased security …
‡ I believe they were in the same school year, Debbi: so if there’s a memory of the name, it’s not vague … ! That said … ? I don’t think Thomas was a model for Ernst: Fleming just nicked the name. (He lifted ‘James Bond’ from an ornithologist.)
