Bugger!
In the midst of joy for the England team … ?
In the midst of that joy … ?
My washing machine has developed a fault!
Yep: something’s causing a blockage, somewhere.
Granted, I’ve managed to unblock the filter at the bottom of the machine: but … ?
I don’t think the filter’s the real issue.
I bet you something else is causing the problem.
Thankfully, it’s still under guarantee: so any repairs should keep the cost down.

* Hello, Mum!
† It’s getting quicker, too, Olga. My stepdad picked up a bootleg copy of ET, many years ago: that took a couple of weeks between it debuting at the cinema, and being sold from the back of a van.
These days, it can take about ten minutes … …
‡ It’s a funny thing, Debbi: Tom Blofeld is a grandson of Thomas Blofeld … who went to school with Ian Fleming … …

If I recall, correctly, Olga?
That bootleg version of ET was a VHS copy of something some sat in the back of a cinema and recorded.
How they sneaked the camera in, without being noticed, I don’t know …
