12th August, 2025.
It’s officially official: I’ve had t-shirts delivered!
There’s a company doing the rounds called Printerval: that lets you print your own custom t-shirts.
So?
I ordered some retro-game ones, ones that featured the covers from the old Traveller game books.
They don’t look too bad: and are a smaller size.
That’s a good thing, I think.
And … ?
Means I have idea of what size to get next: something that can be both geeky … and cheaper …

I’ve got the Today programme on in the background.
And?
Something caught my attention, during the show’s the news bulletin.
There’s been fires, grass fires, in Wanstead Flats in London.
Some fourteen or so miles from where I live.
That’s concerning, rather than worrying.
But?
I’m only a few yards from parkland, after all: I’d hate to see that go up.
~≈🔥≈~
Just as a last thought … ?
The Today programme has just had an interview with Midge Ure: as tomorrow sees the fortieth anniversary of the Live Aid concert*.
There’s possibly points to make.
One?
Tomorrow’s set is about the concert.
Two?
Queen were the best act on, that day.
And three?
I’m going to play a Christmas song in July …

* Bruce Springsteen has gone on the record to say he turned down the chance to take part: and has been kicking himself, ever since.
† Hello, Mum!
‡ If I recall the original novel correctly, Olga? The test couldn’t tell the difference between the replicants and humans with certain mental illness: I believe schizophrenia was the one mentioned.
I always seem to get the clever ones scammers. Well … I say clever …
§ I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, Debbi. But you may want to take more water.

I've read the book as well, but what stuck in my brain the most, apart from the fact that all the animals had died (and that explained the mechanical owl), was the mood machine, because, being a psychiatrist, I thought that would get rid of many jobs in that field of medicine (not necessarily the one I was doing, as I always worked in hospital mostly with people with severe mental illnesses, but...)

Very interesting today Paul. It was good I had the time to read about the subjects. Seems there's always been a bully
And take breaks, longer or more often. We're trying to make a movie, not kill ourselves. :)
