Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 25-8-2025 — Nottinghamshire. (Ten Questions)

25th August, 2025: Nottinghamshire.

It’s officially Monday: and officially a bank holiday.

Which means?

I’m up … at a later time than usual.

As my weight management groups got the day off.

We’re back to normal, next week.

Just in case you’re wondering … ?

I’ve finally finished another Star Trek review: both the written and video versions.

I hope you enjoy it!

*        Hello, Mum!

        Well … Ireland’s a bit of a mix, Irene: but there IS an Anglican Church of Ireland, led by the (Anglican) Bishop of Armagh.   The Church in Wales is led by an Archbishop.   And the Church of Scotland is led by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland: David Tennent’s Dad held the post for about a year.

        It was worse, Debbi: Daniel Craig at least made the effort!

Fantastic Paul. Thank you so much for a most entertaining answer. I had looked up on Google after asking you why but the experience although informative was not as entertaining. Thank you again. Irene xx

One might also ask, "When do men not talk about women?" Or make them the focal point of their gaze? :)

Yeah, let's just pretend the other gender doesn't exist. That'll fix everything. :)

Except wait! How does this rule apply in the age of LGBTQ+? Hmm ...? :)

Sorry, not much around these days. Although in theory not always busy in the afternoons, by the time I get things going, not much time left for anything else, and two of the three afternoons I've ended up joining the Sants 3 Ràdio team. In case you see this, you can check the photos of the decorated streets here.

The ceremony of the official awards (the radio organises the awards based on popular votes, that takes place on Saturday, and part of my task is answering the phones and writing down the streets they choose) was yesterday, and the street with the submarine and the decorations based on Jules Verne's novels won the first prize.
Catch up soon!
