Tonight’s Gig

Well, tonight seemed to go better than recently!   I think that handing out the flyer’s is starting to kick in, but today has been busier than most.   But I have managed to persuade Martin the manager that putting out a chalked up A-board would definitely be helpful.   Mostly because the Workers, in the photo on top,  and the Nicholls family, underneath, had originally started coming to the King Harold quiz, because they’d seen the board outside and decided to come in, on the strength of it!!

Anyway, the bonus is now officially up to £14•25 — getting better —and tonight’s bonus Question was a fiendishly tricky one I picked up from a film buff friend.   And if Graham doesn’t know the answer to this little beauty …

The only film Charles Laughton directed, was called “Night of the Hunter”; – which movie tough guy was its star, and in which year of the fifties was it released?

Robert Mitchum,1955

Which NO-ONE got!

And here’s the answer’s to the table round—I’ve something a little more Xmasy, for Thursday …

Q1) Who won this year’s series of “The X-Factor”?

A1) Alexandra Burke

Q2) The initial auditions in front of the judges have been dubbed “…the good, the bad, & the ugly”.  But by which of the “The X-Factor” judges?

A2) Louis Walsh

Q3) Which former “X-Factor” winner has set the record for fastest selling single, by download only?

A3) Leona Lewis.   (With “Run”)

Q4) In which Australian variety show did Danii Minogue first come to prominence?

A4) Young Talent Time

Q5) Which footballer is Cheryl Cole married to?

A5) Ashley Cole.

Anyway, I’ll post the main question set in the morning, I am dog tired.
