The Daily Teaser …

Hmmm …

Well, I’ll happily admit to having mooched around the ’net for a while, checking on the various feeds I’ve got access to; and found some interesting sci-fi news that you can read, here, here, and here. The interesting bit is the — apparently — the BBC will be commissioning a fourth series of “Torchwood”. All to the good!

At any rate, here’s today’s questions …

Q3) Today in 1866 saw the completion of the Atlantic Telegraph Cable, between Ireland and Canada; which famous ship laid it?

Q4) “A Wild Hare” — the first cartoon to feature Bugs Bunny — débuted, today; in which year of the 1940s?

Q5) And finally, today in 1949, saw the first flight of a passenger jetliner; what model was it?

And here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q6) July 25th, 1989, saw Robert T. Morris be the first person in the US to be prosecuted for releasing what?

Q7) And finally, today in 1856, is the birthday of which Irish writer and Nobel Laureate?

A7) George Bernard Shaw.

Enjoy those! I’ll catch you later!
