It’s A Balloon, Penelope …

Well, it’s a balloon that’s gone up, at any rate … !

Ummm … …

You remember I mentioned the new hotel that’s opened round the corner from me?

It’s their publicity Blimp!

They’ve got a Publicity Blimp … !

I hope it doesn’t hit by a low flying something. It doesn’t matter about what, anything low-flying isn’t going to be good!

But I’m burbling, aren’t I?

Aren’t I?

•••••

I know that one of me neighbour’s popped in the minutes from the recent residents meeting; it’d been shoved in her letter box, by mistake.

Fascinating to read.

Hmmm …

I do know that the roads have come up, again; it seems one of the neighbour’s is trying to arrange for parking permits for the actually road itself. Which’d be handy.

There’s a couple of biggies, though, seemed to have gotten a mention, though …

One was Sky+.

Several people, it seems, want it, but it would cost a hefty £2, 000 to put the necessary extra socket in each flat, and boosted amplifier for each building.

Something Circle Anglia doesn’t have the budget for.

And it’s something I know I, and one or two others, wouldn’t be able to take advantage of, I know that … ! It’s not exactly cheap, on our budgets.

So no big thing, there, as far as I’m concerned; saying that, if circumstances ever change …

The other issue that got raised was the ol’ thing about CCTV cameras.

The basic idea is sound, I’m thinking. Now the only thing that concerns me, here, is simply the cost.

After all, installing a CCTV systems — and there’s a couple of possibilities, there — doesn’t as much, I think, as hiring the person to operate a CCTV system …
