Actually, I’ve got to be honest, this one is going to be quick.
At any rate, a couple of bits of news happened to catch my eyes.
For starters, the news that Archbishop Desmond Tutu is to (mostly) retire from public life.
Which is sad, knowing the amount of time he’s put into his cause.
But at 79 … ?
I can’t say I blame him … !!

The other bit of news … ?
Is that the coalition government has finally — or rapidly finalised — the question for the referendum — on May 5th of next year — for whether Westminster elections should switch to an Alternative Vote system, or stick with the First-Past-The-Post system we have now.
Hmmmm …
It’s nice to know that that’s been sorted.
But I’m not sure — right here and now — exactly which way I’d vote.
I know I’m tempted to vote against it.
After all, whilst my instincts are usually Liberal, the fact that the Liberal Democrats have gone into coalition with the tories is something that’s really not pleased me.
So facing five more years of that … ?
Purely on the basis that Nick Clegg happened to get on better with David Cameron, than he did with Gordon Brown … ?
Well …
As you might possibly imagine, it’s not something I feel good about.
